RIDES
Northwest Georgia SORBA will coordinate rides to further the interest in off-road biking and the importance of trail maintenance and access. One of our goals as a SORBA chapter is to utilize the trails in our Northwest Georgia area and to introduce members to those trails. Be sure to check out the Calendar for upcoming rides! RIDES/RIDE COORDINATORS/DISCLAIMER SHEETS Most of the SORBA rides are coordinated using the FORUM. The FORUM has numerous features including a calendar and message board, which enables mountain bikers to post rides, events or messages to interact with each other. These rides are normally unofficial, but it is a way to utilize these trails and introduce other people and members to different trails in Northwest Georgia. The FORUM hopefully will further the interest in off-road biking along with the importance of trail maintenance and access. The official SORBA rides will be posted on the FORUM as "official" and DISCLAIMER SHEETS are required to be turned in to SORBA main by Ride Coordinators. RIDE COORDINATORS Our chapter has some nice folks who volunteer as RIDE COORDINATORS to take members on these wonderful trails! Our chapter is always on the look out to have more volunteers for ride coordinators. Which means......don't hesitate to volunteer to be a ride coordinator and show us some gnarly trails! DISCLAIMER SHEET Ride Coordinators be sure to print this DISCLAIMER SHEET and fill it out for any rides that are organized. |
